Reiki has brought a renewed sense of peace into my life and has helped me work through some recent life challenges with grace and compassion. I am particularly thankful for having received advanced training from Elizabeth Scala at Living Sublime Wellness. She is truly passionate and knowledgeable about Reiki. She was eager to share what she has learned and could easily answer my questions.  Her style is kind and caring which quickly put me at ease. Although I had not been a faithful practitioner prior to my class, Elizabeth accepted me where I was in very non-judgmental way. Since that class, Reiki has become a valuable part of my daily practices.  -Kim B., MSN/MBA, RN, Baldwin, MD.

Reiki is a Japanese healing modality that allows for rejuvenation, healing, and receiving wellness into your life. Reiki can be an adjunctive therapy to an already applied Western form of medicine, as it is a complement to established-care. It can be a source for relaxation and stress reduction. It has been used in the reduction of pain, healing of illness, and as an enhancement to one’s overall well-being.

 How can Reiki help you?

Reiki will gift you with the following:

  • Higher levels of energy reserve
  • Healing processes within your body, mind, emotion, and spirit
  • Feelings of calm, confidence, and strength
  • Increased clarity and perspective
  • More resiliency and resourcefulness in times of stress
  • A greater ability to handle change
  • The capacity to live the reality of your true potential

As nurses, we all have a week, a day, or even a shift where things go any way but smooth. So what can we do to break free from stress? How can we lighten the heaviness of tension? Reiki is a Japanese healing modality that shifts energy on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level so that your whole mind-body-spirit is in balance.
